Gone are the days of messy fuel filter changes on old cav filter bowl and seals that often do not seal correctly and leak!!!! Now a fuel filter change can happen in just 20 seconds with this kit.

Fuel filter kit with short screw filter cartridge, ideal for replacing the traditional cav fuel bowl and element system on many marine engines, particulally on BMC marine engines where the filter is located on the back of the engine above the bell housing where space is limited.

The fuel connections (1/2" unf ports) on the housing are exactly the same as the traditional systems and the two mounting holes are the same, so upgrading to this kit is a doddle.

this is a very good upgrade

its frustrating when you change the fuel filter only to find it still leeks fuel, this is a very good upgrade to the diesel fuel system as my boat safety inspection is due soon, no more wiping fuel from around the filter to fool the inspector..
