This kit is designed to remove oils (hydrocarbons) down to less than 5PPM (Parts per million)

Description

It is recommended that the filter element is replaced every 12 months although this is just a guide depending on the amount of oil absorbtion the fiilter is to handle.

If there appears to be an oily sheen on the river then the filter elecment has reached its maximum potentional.

If the bilge pumping system becomes restricted or stops flowing then the filter may be blocked and need replacing, before doing this we suggest checking the pump, the pipes for blockages or kinks etc..

Disposal of old elements must be done at suitible enviromental waste facilities most local boatyards/marinas have waste filter facilities
