This seal sits over the rocker cover studs to seal where the studs come through the rocker. Using anything other that the correct seals can result in oil leaks and distortion of the rocker cover itself.

12A1358 is a sealing washer for the engine rocker cover retaining bolts You will require two per engine.

Rocker cover bolt seal 12A1358 fits the BMC 1.5 and BMC 1.8 based engines such as the Thornycroft 90, Thornycroft 108 and Tempest Newage 1.5 Captain boat engines. Can also be used to replace 6K515 rocker bolt seal as fitted to the BMC 2.52 based engines such as the Thornycroft 154.
