This is a replacement exhaust injection bend for the early obsolete Thornycroft exhaust systems as fitted to the Thornycroft BMC T90, T108, T154 engines which were based on the origional BMC Leyland 1.5, 1.8 & 2.52 B series diesel engines. The early Cast versions were prone to corrosion and rusted/corroded away down the top of the fitting after the injection point, this Stainless steel replacement will not corrode away and is tolerant of temperature variations.
exhausted raw cooling water is fed into the top injection inlet which has a purpose made spray nozzle to help improve exhaust hose cooling as well as helping to reduce exhaust noise.

Exhaust outlet can take 2" (51mm), 2 1/4" (57mm) and 2 1/2" (63mm) ID Hose
