Worth doing the conversion if you have a ford mermaid or leeman ,sabre .
Just check you have the room
As a connecting pipe is required between the two filters .
But should you need to change at sea. It will be easier
Than the two gasket type.

My husband says it will save a lot of mess in the future. Working on an engine under the floor of a boat is more difficult.
